Half-Day Rafting Limay River from Bariloche
Book our 4.5-hour tour to go rafting on the Limay River with our guides for a nice journey through the Patagonian Steppe, with its predominance of sun and good weather. The Rio Limay is the best way to explore the Patagonian Steppe. You will navigate in between volcanic rock formations formed in the past, and observe birds and other animals that inhabit the shore such as guanacos and deer. This is an ideal way to take the first step in this type of activity, regardless of your age or physical condition. Only your desire to participate is required. Choose either the 9am or 2pm departure time when you book this tour.
You will be picked up from your hotel at 9am or 2pm (according to the selected option) in a van equipped with heating and air conditioning. You will leave Bariloche along Route 237, which borders the Rio Limay, heading to La Lonja where you will set sail. Here, after an explanatory talk, your guides provide each participant with a life jacket and a paddle to start the adventure.
Once in the water, you begin your journey among the impressive volcanic rock formations, soaring through the imposing amphitheater, and watching the various birds that inhabit the banks.
After two hours of sailing and passing through Las Mellizas and Segunda Angostura, you arrive at the Mangrullo, near Villa Llanquín. You conclude the journey on a comfortable retreat on the banks of the river, where you can relax and enjoy the flavors of the countryside.
You will return to Bariloche around 1:30 pm or 6:30 pm, according to the selected option.
