Boat Wreck and Reef Snorkling Eco-Tour
Enjoy a Bahamian ecology experience that is simple, pure and natural! This tour is designed for small groups. The Eco-Tour provides visitors the opportunity to mingle with thousands of reef fish on a sunken boat wreck in 10 feet of water as well as reefs in the West End. While on the tour it is possible that their will be seasonal sightings of mating turtles or dolphins spotted in the area and may stop for a short while to view the animals for a close encounter. One may catch a glimpse of sleeping turtle or lobsters under the coral. Round-trip hotel or harbor transfers included. Perfect for nature lovers!
This tour provides visitors the opportunity to snorkel a sunken boat wreck with an incredible amount of reef fish in one location. Tours are provided in small and private groups (maximum of 6 guests) so that you can receive a personalized experience.
Guests will board the Boat of Ely, a 20 foot Mako equipped with a 150HP engine. A customary safety briefing as well as a short history of West End and the reef sites will be provided before the tour begins. The reefs around West End are some of the most prolific found anywhere on the island. This ocean expedition also allows its guests to discover a sunken boat wreck in only 10 feet of water and other exotic reefs subject to weather and sea conditions.
There is a limited amount of snorkel gear and encourage guests to bring their own snorkel gear, head cover, sunscreen and towel. It is highly recommended that children are fitted with their own personal snorkel gear prior to leaving for vacation.
